Petya Koycheva

Petya Koycheva is a Senior Associate in Commercial Dispute Resolution at Freeths LLP since August 2015, specializing in a variety of contentious matters, including finance and technology disputes. Previous experience includes roles as a Trainee Solicitor, where Petya assisted in Dispute Resolution as well as Banking and Real Estate Finance, and as a Legal Assistant in the Clinical Negligence Department. Academically, Petya engaged in doctoral research at City, University of London, focusing on international commercial law and arbitration, and contributed significantly as a Visiting Lecturer and coach for the City Law School Vis Moot team. Petya has also served as a legal adviser and has extensive involvement in international arbitration education, holding multiple relevant certificates from prestigious institutions. Educational qualifications include a PhD in International Commercial Law and an LL.M. in International Commercial Law.
