Kim Girard has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Kim began their career as an IT Consultant at Accenture, where they worked for two years. Kim then joined American Express, first as a Manager in Strategy & Analysis for Global Field Effectiveness, and later as Manager for Account Development in Professional & Advisory Services.

In 2012, Kim transitioned to Luxury Retreats, taking on the role of Director for Knowledge and Development. Kim worked in this capacity for one year before moving on to Edgewater Ranzal in 2014. At Edgewater Ranzal, they started as a Senior Technical Consultant in the Big Data Practice, and over the years, they were promoted to Senior Consultant.

In 2017, Kim joined Avesta Computer Services as a Program Manager for Cisco. Their work involved managing a high-profile project with a significant budget and a team of over 20 members.

Kim's most recent position is with FreeWheel, where they have held multiple roles since 2018. Kim started as a Director of Product Management, then advanced to Senior Director of Product Management. Currently, they serve as the Head of Product Operations.

Additionally, Kim has also taken on the role of Mental Health Advocate & Edu-tainer at Kim miK: That's Crazy Talk since 2009.

Kim Girard completed a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on International Business and Operations Management at the University of Alberta from 1996 to 2000. Kim later attended Dev Bootcamp for web development in 2014. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the PMC Level I certification from Pragmatic Institute in 2020 and became an Oracle Endeca Information Discovery 3.1 Certified Implementation Specialist in 2014.
