Mihaela Jembei

Mihaela Jembei has a diverse range of work experience. Mihaela is currently the Director of Cyber Security Regulation at the Information Commissioner's Office since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at bp as a Business Information Security Lead from December 2021 to December 2022. Mihaela also served as a Manager at PwC from February 2019 to December 2021, where they were a Steering Committee member of the Women in Cyber network. Mihaela'sprevious roles include working as a Cyber Security Consultant at Deloitte UK from September 2016 to February 2019, as a Charity Relations Executive at Makerble in July and August 2015, as a Research Assistant at University College London in February and March 2015, as the General Secretary of the Electoral Commission at the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova London in November 2014, as an Administrative Secretary at the Diplomatic Mission of the Republic of Moldova in August and September 2014, as an Administrative Secretary at the Embassy of Moldova in London in June 2014, and as a Volunteer Administrative Assistant at the Ministry of Justice in Moldova in July and August 2013.

Mihaela Jembei obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Politics from King's College London from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they completed their A-Levels at Bellerbys College Brighton from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Mihaela holds several certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E), and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor and Lead Implementer. Mihaela also completed a certification in Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions from Microsoft.
