Yuval Gilad

Yuval Gilad started their work experience as an Instructional Designer at ROR Ltd in 2005. Yuval then moved on to Matrix, where they worked as a Project Manager, focusing on training development and systems assimilation from 2007 to 2009. In 2012, Yuval joined the Weizmann Institute of Science as a Ph.D. Student, later becoming a Postdoctoral Researcher in 2015 and a Scientific Consultant from 2017 to 2018. Concurrently, from 2016 to 2017, they also worked as a Licensing Assistant at Yeda R&D - Technology Transfer from The Weizmann Institute of Science. Most recently, in 2018, Yuval Gilad co-founded FreezeM and serves as the CEO.

Yuval Gilad obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biotechnology from Tel Aviv University in the period from 2006 to 2009. After that, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science, completing it in the years 2009 to 2011. Continuing their academic journey, Yuval Gilad achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Molecular Genetics from the Weizmann Institute of Science, where they studied from 2012 until 2015.
