We are new business architects that help companies turn an innovation into a successful new business, faster. Just like a structural architect designs a plan to transform an idea into a building, we design the plan to transform an innovative idea, technology, product, or service into a successful new business.

We do this work because architecting a business requires different skills from operating a business. For example, an architect needs to be adept at exploring options, learning & adapting, and weighing risk/reward with a limited amount of data. In contrast, an operator’s expertise is more focused on executing direction, maximizing productivity, and reducing risk with a robust amount of data.

Our architecting experience includes work with Fortune 100 multinationals such as Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo, mid-cap private equity backed companies such as ThermaCell, and start-ups we’ve co-founded including TeamSnap.

Our architecting process, which we call Fast-Forward® brings together the best of the disciplined rigorous planning of a Big Company with the fast-cycle learning and adapting of an Entrepreneur. Using this process, we rapidly design and optimize multiple plans, pre-market to determine the best plan to turn your innovation into a successful new business.

This combination of architecting experience and Fast-Forward® process delivers plans with 2.5x greater value, on average, than the starting plan. As a result, more than 80% of our clients have hired us multiple times based on the results we’ve delivered for them.

4 in 5 new businesses fail due to ineffective architecting – the wrong plan, misguided execution of the right plan, or a combination of both. Frehner-Jens brings you effective architecting capability when and where you need it so you can be the one to succeed.
