Adrian Jones

Adrian Jones is a dedicated engineering professional with extensive experience in vehicle component and system design, currently serving as a Development Engineer at Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation since June 2015. Throughout this tenure, Adrian has advanced through various engineering roles, applying theoretical principles and industry-leading technology to create reliable and efficient vehicles. Prior experience includes an internship as a Design Engineer Intern at Caterpillar Inc., where Adrian designed a GPS system mounting bracket and led a project for a new tractor lifting procedure, and a Project Engineer Intern position at Centro, Inc., focused on prototype testing and fixture design. Additional internship experience includes a Lean Engineer Intern role at Corning Optical Communications, where Adrian contributed to process improvements in the quality test area. Adrian holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in the same field at the same institution.
