Corey Childress

Corey Childress is a Senior Design Engineer at Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation, with a career progression that includes roles as Design Engineer II and Design Engineer I since June 2019. Prior to this position, Corey served as a Design Engineer at JOA Factory Exposure Solutions from January 2018 to May 2019, where responsibilities included the development of 3D isolation models, conducting on-site manufacturing assessments, creating physics-based computer models for industrial systems, and managing customer relations. Corey holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from both the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and North Carolina State University, complemented by a high school diploma from Mount Airy High School.
