Louann Powell Cic

LouAnn Powell, CIC, has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Regional Claims Manager at Fremont Insurance Company since June 2011. In this role, LouAnn oversees bodily injury and medical claims, as well as premises liability and personal injury protection claims. Prior experience includes serving as Claims Executive at Michigan Insurance Company from August 2003 to June 2011, where expertise was developed in personal injury protection, workers' compensation, auto and premises liability, and auto physical damage claims. Earlier tenure at Citizens Insurance from 1996 to 2003 involved handling first party auto and injury claims, third party negligence, and litigated claims. LouAnn holds a Certified Insurance Counselor designation obtained through MAIA between 2003 and 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Science in History and Political Science from Eastern Michigan University in 1996.
