May Ling

May Ling is a dedicated multilingual educator currently serving as a Multilingual Teacher at Fremont School District 79 since August 2021. With prior experience as a Teaching Fellow at Breakthrough Collaborative, May successfully taught a Mathematical unit and fostered team-building through dance instruction. May's background includes roles as a Camp Counselor at Tamarak Day Camps, where collaboration and skill development were prioritized, and as a Teaching Assistant at Valparaiso University, facilitating discussions and providing writing feedback. Earlier experience as a Student Teacher at Kumon North America involved tutoring a diverse range of students in English and Math. May Ling holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Valparaiso University and is pursuing a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University.
