Parent Outreach Coordinator at Fremont Unified School District

Catrina Aguilar is the current Parent Outreach Coordinator at Fremont Unified School District. Prior to their current position, they worked as the Nutrition & Wellness Program Coordinator at Alameda County Community Food Bank from July 2008 to April 2017. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating and delivering culturally appropriate nutrition education classes, food demonstrations, and outreach materials to 250,000 eligible food bank clients. Additionally, they developed, planned, and facilitated interactive nutrition trainings to groups of 40+ member agencies, managed relationships with member agencies to promote environmental changes related to health and wellness, recruited, trained, and managed nutrition volunteers from local universities to increase nutrition efforts, and oversaw grant activities including deliverables, data collection, and reporting.

Catrina Aguilar has a BS in Health Sciences from Caifornia State University, East Bay.
