Kathy Leong

Kathy Leong is an experienced credentialed school nurse with a diverse background in nursing across multiple educational institutions and healthcare settings. Since October 2020, Kathy has been serving as a Credentialed School Nurse at Fremont Unified School District and also takes on the role of Substitute School Nurse for Oakland Unified School District. Previously, Kathy worked as a Registered Nurse at San Lorenzo Unified School District from January 2012 to June 2020, and held similar positions at Castro Valley Unified School District. Kathy's nursing career began at Alta Bates Medical Center, where Kathy worked on the Acute Surgical floor from May 1987 to July 2014. Kathy Leong holds a School Nurse Credential from California State University-Sacramento and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, Hayward.
