Sandra Makarem

Sandra Makarem serves as the VP of eCommerce at French Connection since October 2023. Previously, Sandra founded and led The Collective Child as CEO from 2017 until March 2023, a technology retail company known for personalized shopping experiences, recognized by leading publications such as Harpers Bazaar and Forbes. Sandra's extensive experience in the retail industry also includes various positions at Bloomingdale's from 2010 to 2017, where roles included Omni-channel Buyer and Planner. Earlier professional experience includes an Editorial Assistant role at Condé Nast International and an internship at Viacom. Sandra holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in International Trade and Marketing from the Fashion Institute of Technology, earned in 2009.
