Philippe Maurin

Philippe Maurin currently serves as the Attaché de Coopération Scientifique et Universitaire at the French Embassy in India, a position held since September 2023. Prior to this, Philippe Maurin held various roles at Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon from 2003 to 2023, including Director of International Affairs, Associate Professor in Organic Chemistry, and Head of the Chemistry Department. Philippe Maurin also contributed as an Expert for the evaluation of curricula at AEQES and served as Attaché for Science and Technology at the French General Consulate in Wuhan from 2015 to 2018. Philippe Maurin completed postdoctoral research at Wayne State University and The University of Alabama and holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from Aix-Marseille University, along with an accreditation to supervise research from École normale supérieure de Lyon.
