Miquela Rivera, Ph.D., is a highly experienced clinical psychologist with a private practice since September 1983. Currently, Miquela serves as a psychologist at French Funerals & Cremations, providing grief support services and conducting bilingual assessments. Miquela has authored contributions in self-improvement and self-help literature, including "The Minority Career Book," and has written for various newspapers and magazines for over three decades. Previous roles include clinical director at the Samaritan Counseling Center and project manager at Booz Allen Hamilton, along with leadership positions in New Mexico's Children, Youth & Families Department. Miquela holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Michigan State University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology from New Mexico State University.
