Delphine Selles-Alvarez

Film Curator at French Institute Alliance Française

Delphine Selles-Alvarez joined FIAF as Film curator in 2013 and oversees the institution’s film program, including CinéSalon, its flagship film series. She has programmed the first US retrospectives of such luminaries as Mathieu Amalric, Rabah Ameur-Zaïmeche and Caroline Champetier. In 2018 she helped launch Animation First, FIAF’s annual French animation festival, and serves as its co-curator. Prior to joining FIAF, Delphine was the Film Program Officer at the Cultural Services of the French Embassy (now Villa Albertine). A native of France, Delphine has lived in the US for over 30 years and has championed French and Francophone cinema for the past 20 years.
