Mathilde Augé

Director, Cultural Programming at French Institute Alliance Française

Mathilde Augé joined FIAF in 2017. Working closely with FIAF’s then President Marie-Monique Steckel, she supervised the rebrand and relaunch of FIAF:Talks including a new series of Art de Vivre talks. Over Covid, she took over cultural programs and the artistic department and shepherded FIAF’s transition into online and hybrid events, reaching audiences across the country thanks to virtual talks with personalities and international partnerships. Before moving to New York, Mathilde was based in Paris where she worked in publishing houses (Autrement, Presses Universitaires de France, Gallimard). A former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure, Mathilde has a master’s in art history from the University Panthéon Sorbonne and a master’s in management from HEC Paris.
