Madeline Sattler has a diverse work experience that spans various industries and roles. Madeline started their career as a Freelance Production Assistant at Green Line Group in 2012. Madeline then worked as a Reporter at Cox Communications, where they were involved in production, on-camera reporting, and editing. In 2014, they worked as a Production Assistant at Golf Channel, where they were responsible for restoring old footage and producing segments for shows. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as a Reporter at GoNUxstream, where they covered a variety of sports and edited feature pieces. Madeline also interned at WJAR-TV as part of their career journey. Madeline entered the field of sports broadcasting as a Sports Reporter at WDAZ-TV in 2015 and later transitioned to WSIL TV, where they served as a Sports Anchor/Reporter from 2016 to 2018. Madeline then worked at Cascade School District, initially as a Communications Specialist from 2018 to 2020 and later as the Director of Communications until 2022. Currently, Madeline serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications at the French American International School.
Madeline Sattler earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Journalism from Northeastern University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015.

French International School of Oregon
The French International School of Oregon is a preschool through 8th grade independent school with an internationally-focused curriculum. We are one of the largest independent schools in the Portland area, with a current enrollment of over 500 students. Our preschool through grade five is full French immersion, whereas language options are expanded at the Gilkey International Middle School. Middle School students choose instruction in English or a partial immersion experience in one of the following languages: French, German, Spanish, or Mandarin Chinese. All middle school students are required to also study one of these languages at a beginner level.
