Romain Lanos

Romain Lanos has extensive experience in the sailing and engineering sectors, currently serving as Responsable du Centre de Calcul de Jauge at Fédération Française de Voile and ORC Rating Officer for France at ORC - Offshore Racing Congress since April 2024. As CEO of Streamline - Yacht Design Solutions since September 2011, Romain has demonstrated leadership in yacht design. Previously, Romain worked as Principal Designer at Syroco from July 2019 to May 2023, contributing to innovative projects aimed at enhancing efficiency in energy and transportation. Romain’s career began as Naval Architect & Engineer with the Groupama Sailing Team from January 2010 to June 2016, following academic pursuits at Université du Québec - Institut national de la recherche scientifique, where a Ph.D. in Applied Physics was earned, and Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Nantes, where a DPEA in Naval Architecture was obtained.
