International High School
Alona holds an AB in religion from Princeton University and two masters in education, the first in reading and literacy from Bank Street College, and another in private school education from Columbia University, Teachers College. She is the Head of School for The Buckley School, a K-12 independent school in Sherman Oaks, CA, the former Head of School at Keys School in Palo Alto, and currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the California Association of Independent Schools. She brings extensive independent school leadership experience to the board.

International High School is a part of French American International School, a PK-12th grade co-educational day school located in the heart of San Francisco. The school delivers a rigorous bilingual immersion program through middle school, culminating in either French Baccalaureate or International Baccalaureate in International High School.
