Sambou Makalou is a native of Mali and moved to Washington, DC at a young age. He holds an engineering degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and moved to the Bay Area to attend Stanford Business School. He has started four companies and is passionate about socially conscious companies with a sustainable business model.

International High School is a part of French American International School, a PK-12th grade co-educational day school located in the heart of San Francisco. The school delivers a rigorous bilingual immersion program through middle school, culminating in either French Baccalaureate or International Baccalaureate in International High School.
