Matias Aunola

Matias Aunola is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data architecture, information management, and systems engineering. Currently serving as a Business Analyst at Frends Enterprise iPaaS since January 2022, Aunola focuses on information and data modeling to enhance data integration for clients. Prior to this role, Aunola spent nearly two decades with the Finnish Defence Forces, progressing through various positions including FDF Data Architect and Principal Scientist, where responsibilities included developing information architecture and leading research knowledge management initiatives. Aunola's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Jyväskylä, complemented by a postgraduate certificate in Systems Engineering from Cranfield University. Aunola has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at the University of Jyväskylä.
