Alexis Nimmo

Alexis Nimmo is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, clinical research, and laboratory operations. Currently serving as an Elementary School Tutor at University Instructors since November 2023, Alexis creates lesson plans aligned with Norfolk Public School's curriculum, tutors 5th graders, and collaborates with faculty to enhance student engagement using the "CRA" method. Previous roles include Clinical Research Coordinator at WCG ThreeWire, where responsibilities involved scheduling, participant recruitment, documentation, and data management, as well as Lead Laboratory Associate at GENETWORx, focusing on specimen processing and quality assurance.
