Petra Mala

Petra Mala has a diverse work experience in various analytical roles. Petra started their career as a Banker at Česka spořitelna, where they managed high net worth clients and provided personalized investment strategies. Petra then worked as a Data Analyst at Welsh Women's Aid, where they developed databases, implemented software, and reported on service delivery trends. Petra later joined Sorenson Media as a Technical BI Analyst, analyzing data and creating reports for decision-making. Petra then moved to Cookpad as a Senior Insight Analyst, where they worked in a fast-paced environment, analyzed large datasets, and provided data-driven insights for product design and development decisions. Their responsibilities included establishing metrics, conducting A/B tests, and building data sources and dashboards. Most recently, Petra worked at Roku Inc. as a Senior Data Analyst, utilizing their skills in data analysis and making valuable contributions to the company. Currently, they are employed as a Product Data Analyst at Fresco.

Petra Mala has a strong educational background in the field of data science and management. In 2008, they obtained a Bachelor's degree (Bc.) in Management from the Faculty of Management at the University of Economics in Prague. Petra then pursued a Master's degree (Ing.), Equivalent of MSc., in Management from the Prague University of Economics and Business from 2011 to 2014.

In terms of additional certifications, Petra has completed various courses to enhance their data science skills. Petra obtained the Data Science Specialization certificate from Coursera in June 2020. Prior to that, they earned certifications in Developing Data Products, Statistical Inference, Reproducible Research, R Programming, Getting and Cleaning Data, and The Data Scientist's Toolbox, all from Coursera between 2019 and 2020. Petra also completed an Intro to Python for Data Science course from DataCamp in November 2018.

Petra is continuously expanding their knowledge and skills in the field of data science, having completed several courses on specific topics such as Cleaning Data in R, Correlation and Regression, Data Manipulation in R with dplyr, Intermediate R Course, Reporting with R Markdown, and Unsupervised Learning in R, all from DataCamp. Petra also holds a Prince 2 Foundation certification from PeopleCert, acquired in March 2018.
