Lorena Muggetti

Lorena Muggetti is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in pharmaceutical formulation and manufacturing processes. Currently serving as the Formulation and Manufacturing Process Development Director at Fresenius Kabi since September 2017, Lorena specializes in developing formulations for the generic market, including novel formulations, and overseeing the transfer of manufacturing methods. Prior to this role, Lorena was the R&D Head at Actavis Italy Spa from May 2010 to September 2017, where responsibilities included formulation development, analytical method validation, and regulatory documentation support. Earlier experience includes leadership positions at Nerviano Medical Sciences, Pharmacia, and Farmitalia Carlo Erba, with a strong emphasis on injectable products, preformulation, and innovative formulations. Lorena holds a Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from Università degli Studi di Milano.
