Elza Lenferink

Elza Lenferink is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in leading compliance teams at Fresenius Medical Care since September 2015. As the Regional Compliance Lead, Elza oversees ethics and compliance operations across multiple countries in Europe, managing a team of 11 professionals. Elza has held various leadership roles, including Head of Global Compliance Governance and Head of Advisory & Operations, where responsibilities encompassed policy development, compliance advisory support, and training. Prior experience includes roles at the Permanent Mission of Maldives to the United Nations, Stibbe, Houthoff Buruma, and academia at the University of Groningen. Elza holds a Master's Degree in Law and a Certified Compliance Professional designation.
