Camp Mariah & Career Awareness Program Director at The Fresh Air Fund

Byllye Taylor is the Camp Mariah & Career Awareness Program Director at The Fresh Air Fund. Prior to this, they were an Associate Teacher at Resurgence Hall from September 2020 to March 2022. Before that, they were an Infant Teacher at Bright Horizons from October 2019 to March 2020, where they taught students basic and sensory skills based on their milestones. Byllye also planned and implemented class curriculum and individual learning plans, helped infants explore developmental social skills, observed and assessed each child's health, skills, behavior, growth and development, and documented incident reports throughout the day. Taylor was also the Assistant Camp Director at Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta from April 2018 to October 2019, and Teaching Assistant Tutor at Great Oaks Charter Schools from August 2017 to May 2018. Additionally, they served as the Main Camp Female Unit Leader at The Bowery Mission from June 2017 to August 2017.

Ms. Taylor received their Master of Public Administration from Kennesaw State University in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Bethune-Cookman University.

Byllye Taylor reports to Sheila Wilson-Wells, Chief Program Officer. Some of their coworkers include Bentley Gordon - College Connections Program Manager, Chris Filpo - Manager of Teen Programs.
