Charles Xie

Charles Xie is the Controller at The Fresh Air Fund. Charles previously worked as an Information Technology Officer (Quantitative Modeling) at the International Monetary Fund from January 2008 to December 2012. Charles was part of a highly technical team which provided support and development services for applied mathematical, econometric and quantitative finance modeling.

Charles Xie attended high school and then went on to study information engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where they earned their MPhil. Charles also participated in the International Asian Studies Programme at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Afterwards, they completed their BSc. in information engineering at Zhejiang University. Lastly, they obtained certification from CFA Institute, CFA Society Washington, D.C., and The Hong Kong Society of Financial Analysts as a Chartered Financial Analyst.
