Kristin Short

Kristin Short, LMSW, serves as the Director of Program Operations at The Fresh Air Fund since December 2015, overseeing administrative functions, staff training, support services, partnerships, and strategic planning for program and family engagement departments that benefit 3,000 youth. Prior experience includes roles such as Deputy Director of Camping and Director of Camping Services at Hands In 4 Youth, where Kristin developed budgeting templates and revamped camper registration strategies. Previous positions also include Program Director at Coalition for the Homeless, Field Instructor at Clemson University, Social Worker for the Town of Oyster Bay, and various roles in child care and support services across multiple organizations. Kristin holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Columbia University and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Gettysburg College.
