Nicole Johnston

Director, Friendly Towns at The Fresh Air Fund

Nicole Johnston has extensive experience in leadership and education, currently serving as the Director of Friendly Towns at The Fresh Air Fund since January 2016, where previous roles included Deputy Director and Senior Field Manager. Nicole participated in the 2019-2020 Coro Leadership New York program, a prestigious leadership development initiative. Prior to The Fresh Air Fund, Nicole held positions at edCount, LLC and served as a Kindergarten Teacher at Community Academy Public Charter School. Nicole's teaching experience includes being a Corps Member with Teach For America and an intern at The Fresh Air Fund. Educational qualifications consist of a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from William & Mary and a Master of Education in Early Childhood Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University.
