Nelson López, CPA, CFE, currently serves as the Global Senior Director of Internal Controls & SOX Governance at Fresh Del Monte since April 2021, overseeing the internal control framework and compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Previously, Nelson held roles such as Director of Global Internal Audit Services at Fresh Del Monte, Deputy Group Finance Director at Liberty Latin America, and Global Internal Audit and SOX Executive Director at Laureate International Universities, where significant contributions included designing comprehensive audit strategies and enhancing operational efficiency.
