Sebastian Montero

Sebastian Montero currently serves as Vice President and Head of Network Shipping at Del Monte Fresh Produce, a position held since June 2011, where previous roles included Sr. Shipping and Port Director for North America and various director-level positions in shipping and commercial cargo. Prior to this, Sebastian Montero worked at Hapag-Lloyd AG as Vessel Planner Manager and at Hapag-Lloyd Chile in Port Terminal Operations. Earlier experience spans from CSAV, involving positions such as Reefer Ships Planner/Operations, Chief Officer/First Mate, and Fruit Port Captain, where management of fresh fruit operations during the fruit season was a key responsibility. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Universidad Andres Bello and a degree as a Merchant Marine Officer from Escuela Naval Arturo Prat.
