Mike Schowalter

Mike Schowalter is currently working as a Senior Manager at Fresh Energy, where Mike represents the company on transmission, resource adequacy, markets, and interconnection issues. Previously, Mike worked as an Associate Attorney at Rath, Young and Pignatelli, P.C., where Mike advised clients on policy and regulation related to renewable energy credits and other areas. Prior to that, Mike held roles in organizations such as the Lantos Foundation for Human Rights & Justice and the Peace Corps Ukraine. Mike holds a Juris Doctor in International and Economic Law from the University of San Francisco School of Law, a Master of Laws in Environmental Law from Vermont Law and Graduate School, and a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Maryland.
