Nithyanandan Thangavelu

Nithyanandan Thangavelu has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and clinical data programming. Nithyanandan is currently working as the Co-Founder and Head of Product Management at Lifio.ai since October 2022. Previously, they served as the Director of Clinical Data Science and Innovation at Fresh Gravity starting from August 2021. Before that, they held various roles at IQVIA, including Director of Data Science and Innovation, Associate Director of RBM & Analytics, Associate Director of Statistical Programming, Associate Director of Clinical Data Programming, Manager of Clinical Data Programming, and Clinical Database Programmer. Throughout their career, Nithyanandan has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, machine learning, and developing data collection systems. Nithyanandan has also proven their ability to lead teams and prioritize business and information needs. Nithyanandan has contributed to the clinical industry by developing methodologies to minimize the impact of weather on clinical trials and implementing process improvement opportunities.

Nithyanandan Thangavelu started their education at the Park College of Engineering and Technology, where they obtained a M.Sc degree in Software Engineering from 2000 to 2005. In 2016, they attended the Analytics Training Institute for a program called Analytics 360, which focused on Base & Advanced Analytics. In 2019 to 2020, they pursued a Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Statistics at the Indira Gandhi National Open University. Nithyanandan has also obtained additional certifications, including Cert Prep: Project Management Professional (PMP)® and Leading with Innovation from LinkedIn, as well as TCA-TIBCO Spotfire® and TCP-TIBCO Spotfire from TIBCO Spotfire in 2021.
