Alan Shapiro

Alan Shapiro has a diverse work experience in software development, specializing in mobile app development. Alan currently works as a Software Developer at Fresh Technology LLC since March 2020. Before that, they worked as a Xamarin UI Developer on a contract basis from September to December 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Xamarin Developer (UWP/Android/iOS) on a contract basis from June 2017 to March 2018.

Alan also has experience as a Lead Mobile Developer at TellUsIntel LLC from September 2016 to March 2017. Alan worked as a Xamarin Programmer during a period of self-study from June to August 2016. Alan worked as a Windows Mobile Developer on a contract basis at Starmount from July 2015 to February 2016. Alan also held a contract position as an iOS Mobile Developer at IBM from March 2015 to October 2015.

Before their contract work, Alan worked as a J2ME Mobile Software Developer at Shorthand Mobile from April 2014 to January 2015. Alan also worked as a Windows Mobile Developer at Starmount from April 2014 to September 2014. Alan started their career as a Mobile (J2ME) Developer at Klink from September 2012 to April 2014, where they debugged, enhanced and supported a Windows client for cloud file storage, and developed a feature phone client for a cloud file storage and sharing service.

Alan Shapiro attended The City University of New York from 1971 to 1974, where they obtained an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Business Data Processing. During this time, they also studied Data Processing & Technology at CCNY from 1972 to 1974, earning another AAS degree.
