Sergey Bakhtiyarov

Sergey Bakhtiyarov began their professional career in 2008 as a Lead Cook at IHOP. In 2014, they became a Shift Supervisor at BG Urban Grill. In 2016, they joined Fresh Tracks Canada Inc. as a Product Analyst, where they were responsible for maximizing inventory usage and optimizing product performance. Sergey also provided product support, increasing efficiency of sales and product departments by creating tools and reports, updating and maintaining rates for 250+ suppliers, improving accuracy of supplier rates, conducting quality assurance of supplier rates and itinerary templates, and preparing data to determine costing and pricing for 45+ trip variations. Additionally, they assisted the accounting department with day-to-day, month-end, and year-end accounting duties, such as monitoring final margins and analyzing low margin bookings, investigating and resolving discrepancies in supplier charges, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, updating financial information in customer files, and generating and sending out payment cheques to suppliers.

Sergey Bakhtiyarov received their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2018, after having completed a Financial Management Diploma from the same institution in 2011. Theirfield of study was General for the BBA and Accounting for the Diploma.
