Kimberly Tam

Kimberly Tam, CPA, CA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Kimberly is currently the Director of Finance and Controller at FreshBooks since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Dream Unlimited from 2017 to 2021, where they held various roles including Assistant Controller for Global Operations at Dream Industrial REIT and Senior Manager in Corporate Accounting. From 2015 to 2017, Kimberly was the Assistant Controller for Technical Accounting and Revenue at Quickplay, which is now part of the AT&T family. Kimberly began their career at EY in 2009 as a Staff Accountant and eventually became a Manager in Assurance Services. At EY, they were responsible for overseeing audits and special engagements for large public and private companies, with expertise in media, manufacturing, and hospitality industries. Kimberly has experience with IFRS, Private Enterprise GAAP, and US GAAP, and has worked on notable engagements such as leading a carve-out audit for a Canadian national media company and executing IFRS comparatives engagements.

Kimberly Tam, CPA, CA completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University between the years 2005 and 2009. In 2008, they also participated in the International Exchange Program at the HKUST Business School.
