Allan Ssemanda

Allan Ssemanda has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Allan started their career at Virgin Media in 2009 as an IT Service and Support Analyst, providing technical support and managing projects. Allan later transitioned to the role of an IT Technical Analyst, where they provided operational support and developed client platforms. In 2016, Allan joined Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as an Infrastructure Citrix Engineer, responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving the IT infrastructure. Allan then progressed to become an Infrastructure Team Leader, overseeing compute, storage, and SQL systems. Most recently, Allan has served as a Product Owner in the Hybrid Cloud division and currently holds the position of Public Cloud & Identity Platform Lead at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

Allan Ssemanda completed their education at various institutions. Allan received a Certification in Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) from Westminster College of Computing, London from 2001 to 2005. Before that, they pursued a BSc in Computer Science and Statistics from Makerere University, Uganda from 1997 to 2000. Allan'ssecondary education took place at Kibuli Secondary School, Uganda from 1991 to 1997.

In addition to their formal education, Allan has obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT® (CGEIT), Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization, Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization, MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional, MCSA: Windows Server 2008, MCTS: Windows 7, Configuration, MCITP: Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008, MCSA1: Messaging on Windows 2000, and another MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional.
