David Thüning

David Thüning is a legal professional with extensive experience in national and cross-border M&A transactions, Private Equity, and general corporate matters. Currently serving as an Associate Lawyer at Freshfields since December 2022, David previously held similar roles at NEON and several trainee positions at prestigious institutions, including the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court of Hamburg and Milbank LLP. David has a solid academic background with a First State Examination from Bucerius Law School, a Second State Examination from the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court, and is currently pursuing a Dr. jur. at the University of Cologne. David’s training also includes a stint at the German British Chamber of Industry and Commerce in London.
