Teresa Ko

Teresa Ko is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within prominent organizations. As a Senior Partner and Hong Kong and China Chairman at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer since April 1988, Teresa has established a significant presence in the legal sector. Additionally, Teresa serves as Co Vice Chair and a member of the Board of Trustees for the IFRS Foundation from January 2018 to December 2024. Previous roles include Non Executive Director at the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) from 2012 to 2018 and a member of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's Exchange Fund Advisory Committee from 2010 to 2016. Teresa's leadership experience further encompasses positions as Chairman and Deputy Chairman of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited's Listing Committee from May 2006 to June 2012. Teresa holds a master's degree in Law from Jesus College, Cambridge, England.
