Niels Gras

Niels Gras is a skilled .NET and Cloud Consultant currently working at FreshMinds since April 2024 and serving as a Co-Founder of Verdigras B.V. since February 2023. Prior to these roles, Niels had extensive experience as a Senior .NET / Cloud Developer at Homies Alarm (October 2021 - April 2024) and as a Technical Lead at the Achmea Innovation Hub (January 2023 - January 2024). Niels also contributed as a Full-stack Developer and Scrum Master at Stichting BEE-Ideas (January 2021 - September 2021) and transitioned from self-employment as a Full-stack Developer (January 2020 - January 2021) after a career switch into software development. Niels founded Diamond Energy Solutions, focusing on ecological solutions for buildings from January 2013 to December 2019. Niels began a diverse career as a Promotion Representative for Up With People (2011-2012) and a General Construction employee at GTD Bouwtec (2008-2012). Niels holds a Bachelor’s degree in Latin American Studies from Leiden University (2007-2011) and certifications in Infrared Thermography and Energy Saving Advice.
