Michael Malis

Michael Malis is the founder of Freshpaint, a Y Combinator startup established in April 2019, which specializes in collecting website data for seamless integration with marketing and analytics tools, eliminating the need for coding. Prior to this venture, Michael served as a software engineer at Heap from March 2016 to April 2019, where leadership of the database team involved scaling a petabyte-scale Postgres cluster. Earlier experience includes a software engineering internship at Uber from September to December 2015, focusing on ingesting trip-related data and contributing to the transition from a monolithic codebase to a service-oriented architecture.
