Peter Nicolai

Peter Nicolai is an experienced game developer with a career spanning over two decades in the gaming industry. Notably serving as the lead backend developer for the award-winning mobile game SongPop Classic at Gameloft from May 2013 to April 2024, Peter specialized in developing and maintaining Python server backends using Google Cloud Platform. Previous roles include game development positions at Arkadium, Rebel Monkey, and gamelab, where Peter contributed to Java and C++ server backends, downloadable games, and the original Diner Dash. Peter holds a Master of Professional Studies in Interactive Telecommunications from New York University and a bachelor's degree from Macalester College.
