Andrew Whitty

Andrew Whitty has extensive work experience in the food industry. Andrew started their career in 1990 as a National Account Manager at Speedibake Ltd. In 1995, they became a Business Manager at Bakkavor, where they worked until 2011. At Bakkavor, they held various roles and eventually became a Senior Director of Business Development at Bakkavor-North America [Two Chefs On A Roll]. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Vice President - Strategic Business at BAKKAVOR USA, where they stayed until 2020. In 2020, they joined Bakkavor-North America as Vice President - Strategic Business, and later took on the role of Vice President - Sales & Product. Currently, they are the Executive Vice President - Operations at FreshRealm, starting in November 2021.

Andrew Whitty attended Shebbear College from 1975 to 1979, where they obtained their O levels. Following that, they went on to study Nautical Science at North Shields Technical College from 1979 to 1983, earning their HND.
