Carla Pickard

Carla Pickard has over 40 years of work experience, starting with office administration roles in various transport and other companies from 1981 to 1986. Carla then worked as a Materials & Operations Manager at Hermes Abrasvies Canada Limited from 1987 to 1998. After that, they served as a Senior Consultant at daly.commerce from 1998 to 2001 and as a Business Consultant at Intuitive Solutions Group from 2001 to 2002. Carla then became the Director of IT at Cascades Resources (later acquired by PaperlinX and rebranded as Spicers Canada Limited) from 2002 to 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they were the Director of Commercial Business Systems at PaperlinX Canada Limited. Carla briefly held the position of Director of Commercial Systems at PaperlinX North America from January 2012 to June 2012. Carla then served as the Commercial Systems Director at Spicers Canada Limited from July 2012 to December 2013. Carla continued their career as the IT Director at East Penn Canada from December 2013 to September 2021, and currently holds the position of Director, Information Technology at Freshstone Brands Inc. starting from September 2021.

Carla Pickard has a Certificate of Achievement in Information Technlology from Queen's University, which was obtained in 2004. Prior to that, they attended Sheridan College from 1988 to 1990 and earned a CPIM (Certified in Production & Inventory Management) degree. In 1981-1982, Carla attended Sheridan College and obtained a Business Administration Certificate. Furthermore, Carla has obtained additional certifications, including InfoPath 2013 Essential Training and SharePoint Online Essential Training (2013), both from Lynda.com in May 2016.
