Mikko Kärkkäinen

Mikko Kärkkäinen has extensive experience in finance and leadership roles. Mikko is currently serving as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Freska since April 2023. Prior to this, they were a Member of the Board of Directors at Vapaus starting from November 2021. Mikko also held the same position at Bravo Gourmet OY since April 2012. Mikko Kärkkäinen completed their vocational degree in culinary arts from Helsinki Culinary Institute Perho between 1999 and 2001. Mikko then went on to pursue a degree in managerial accounting and marketing, earning their MSc. (Econ.) from Helsinki School of Economics from 2001 to 2008. In 2007 and 2008, they attended the Helsinki School of Creative Entrepreneurship, but it is not specified what degree or field of study they pursued during this time. Currently, Mikko Kärkkäinen is undertaking a Ph.D. in entrepreneurship at Aalto University, starting in 2011.
