Andres Cristobal

Andres Cristobal has a diverse work experience. Andres started working as a Health Educator/Facilitator at Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission in 2019, where they coordinated, implemented, and evaluated public health education programs. Andres also served as a Wrestling Coach at Orange Cove High School from 2015 to 2019. Andres worked as a Public Announcer for various school sports and events at Kings Canyon Unified School District, starting in 2011. Andres also served as a Student Transition Liaison at the same district from 2015 to 2019, advocating for at-risk students and facilitating a smooth transition from middle school to high school. Andres gained experience in sports marketing as a Sports Marketing Intern at Fresno State Athletics from 2020 to 2022, where they contributed to the marketing efforts through various social media platforms. Additionally, they worked as a Social Media Manager at TALK: Strategic Promotion Solutions from January to May 2020. Andres also served as a School Secretary and Wrestling Coach at Citrus Middle School from 2011 to 2015. From these roles, Andres has developed skills in education, advocacy, sports marketing, and social media management.

Andres Cristobal has a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from California State University, Fresno, which they obtained from 2008 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Associate of Arts degree in General Studies at Reedley College from 2002 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Andres has obtained various certifications. Andres obtained the certification in Content Marketing for Social Media from LinkedIn in March 2021 and the certification in Writing a Press Release from LinkedIn in February 2020. Andres also holds the certification as a Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program Provider from the California Department of Public Health, obtained in July 2019. Furthermore, Andres has certifications as a Cara y Corazon Facilitator and El Joven Noble con Palabra from the National Compadres Network/National Latino Fatherhood and Family Institute, obtained in June 2017 and June 2016, respectively. Andres has also completed the Human Subjects Protection Training and the Social and Behavioral Research certification from CITI Program, A Division of BRANY, in May 2021 and February 2021, respectively. Lastly, they obtained the Family Planning Health Worker Certification from Essential Access Health in December 2019.
