Rosa Pineda has extensive work experience in the field of early childhood education. Rosa began their career at Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission (Fresno EOC) Head Start in 1996 as an Early Childhood Education Specialist, a position they held for over 20 years until 2017. In 2018, they rejoined Fresno EOC as the Assistant Director - Head Start, where they served until 2020. During this time, they were responsible for overseeing Head Start programs. In 2020, Rosa Pineda was promoted to the role of Early Care and Education Director, where they managed the organization's early care and education initiatives. Most recently, they have taken on the position of Head Start Director, starting in October 2021.
