Jerald James

Assistant GM / Vice President of Revenue at Fresno Grizzlies

Jerald James has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Jerald began their career in 1987 as a Scientific Aide - Fisheries for the State of California Department of Fish and Game. Jerald then transitioned to the Kings River Conservation District as an Associate Biologist. In 2004, Jerald joined Quad Knopf as a Senior Planner. Jerald later worked at Michael Brandman Associates as a Regional Manager before joining Madera County as the Planning Director. In 2008, Jerald started their own company called James Environmental Planning Service, LLC. Jerald then moved on to the Fresno Grizzlies, where they held positions such as Director of Corporate Partnerships, Vice President of Revenue, and Assistant GM / Vice President of Revenue. Jerald's next career move took him to the Atlanta Gladiators, where they served as the Group Sales Manager and eventually became the President. Their most recent role is as the President of R&J Sports LLC, where they began in 2023.

Jerald James attended California State University, Fresno from 1980 to 1986, where they pursued a degree in Ecology with a focus on Environmental Science.
