Loren Aiton serves as a Lecturer in the Architectural Studies Program at California State University, Fresno, where teaching duties encompass the Architecture and Construction Management Department since August 2018. Aiton has extensive experience in architecture, having worked as a Consulting Architect at TETER Architects and Engineers until December 2024, and held the title of LEED Advocate with USGBC Central California from 2004 until October 2024, focusing on state and local government advocacy. Aiton previously served as Adjunct Faculty at the College of the Sequoias, teaching Building Sustainability and LEED from January 2016 to June 2018. Additional leadership roles include past Chapter President and Education Committee Chairman with USGBC-CC, and a project architect position at DAMIAN GERARD CURRAN ASSOCIATES from 1985 to 1994. Aiton holds a Bachelor of Architecture from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and an Associate of Arts in Architecture from El Camino College.
