Crystal Brookter

Crystal Brookter, MSW, currently serves as the Community Schools Coordinator for the Fresno Unified School District since August 2025. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Young Community Developers as both the Black To The Future Program Director and Program Manager, focusing on support for African American families in San Francisco. Previous experience encompasses case management at Urban Services YMCA, where collaboration with community-based organizations and education advocacy were key responsibilities, as well as a supervisory position at 100% College Prep. Crystal Brookter also provided in-home support for children with severe emotional disorders at Golden State Family Services. Academic credentials include a Master of Social Work from San José State University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from California State University, Fresno.
